Dear Visitors,

We have the pleasure to present you the new issue of the Macedonian Business Environment Monitoring, which this year will be issued by the Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI).

Since our target groups include Macedonian businessmen, representatives of Macedonian central and local government bodies, Macedonian business associations, etc. interested parties, the Monitoring is in Macedonian language only. If there is an interest of such information in English we could prepare it by order.

The Monitoring is done within the framework of the project: Bettering Business Environment and Public-Private Dialogue in Republic of Macedonia by Providing Better Business Information Channels, and is financially supported by The Balkan Trust for Democracy.

The main project goal is to stimulate a regular transfer of information from the Government to the general public, aiming to improve as the Government communication with citizens as citizen's understanding of Government actions and policies.

EPRI and the present newsletter aim:

To initiate a broad rationale public debate on the economic reforms and other public policy related issues;

To contribute to the effective public-private dialogue in the country;

To promote the ideas of economic liberty and the market economy values in R. Macedonia.

The EPRI team will appreciate your comments, suggestions, or just sharing your thoughts on the topics from our Monitoring.
